YOGA FOR BODY, BREATH AND MIND

Where: RICHMOND ROAD MEMORIAL HALL
When: MONDAY 6.45 – 8.00PM

These classes honour the ancient practice of Yoga by using movement and breath to create stillness in the mind. Working closely with the breath, short dynamic practices and static holds are used to encourage mindful movement and harness the senses. The practice of prāṇāyāma then leads us to a space of stillness and reflection.

Personal Practice

Traditionally, Yoga was always taught on an individualised basis. This approach respects the abilities and needs of the individual and the teacher gets to truly know the student. This relationship enables the teacher to adapt (modify or extend) the tools and techniques of Yoga to ensure the student receives the greatest benefit from their practice. As the student changes and evolves over time, so too does their practice. For more information about a personal practice, contact Polly.
